Week 1; ECO Great Customer Service

I experienced great customer service when I went to BCBG here in Las Vegas. All the employees greeted me as I walked in and around the store and if I needed help with something they didn’t hesitate to assist me. They made sure I was aware about all the promotions that were going on throughout the store. They were very helpful but not overbearing. The store was very clean and organized. And when I got to the register there was a little confusion about the sales. The shirt that I had rung up another price other than the price that was on the sign. I kindly let the cashier know and she apologized and explained to me that it was “select styles” but she still changed the price. She didn’t fight with me or she didn’t give me an attitude about it. In the text it states “Consumers needs and wants are fulfilled through market offerings, some combination of products, services, information, or experiences offered to a market to satisfy a need or a want. They also include service activities or benefits offered for sale that are essentially intangible and do not result in ownership of anything.” (Marketing pg. 7). I believe that them rewarding me with a coupon and changing the price for me and apologizing was focusing on me and my needs and my happiness. They cared that I was satisfied with their service and their store and wanted me to come back another time. I really wanted that shirt and I didn’t have to debate whether I should get it or not because she changed the price for me no questions asked. That is one of my favorite clothing stores and their customer service is definitely one of the reasons why. I recommend all my friends to go there anytime they ask.
